NEW CATEGORY

‘Communicating the Message’

£1,000 CASH PRIZE

DEADLINE MONDAY 1ST SEPTEMBER 2008

By popular demand we are opening a brand new category for ‘Peace of Art’. This is in addition to the 11 – 18 yr old category and will be judged separately.

It is for anyone up to the age of 25 and is about ‘Communicating the Message’.

We thought about making this section 18 – 25 only but then thought that was not fair and was patronising to younger folk so – ‘up to 25s’ it is.

As with the 11 – 18 categories, entries can be from any of the performing or visual arts, a photo or a written piece. It is entirely up to you.

The ‘Message’ should relate to Professor Rotblat’s vision of a future without war or nuclear weapons – a Culture of Peace.

In addition to the £1,000 cash prize you will be invited to London to perform or exhibit at the major event in November.
